One of Sofia’s hospitals has started testing a portable Pregnabit system that enables safe and reliable testing of fetal heart rate at any time, anywhere. The data collected by the device is transmitted wirelessly to the Medical Telemonitoring Center, which is operated by qualified medical personnel. Majczin Dom, the Bulgarian hospital where the pilot implementation of the Pregnabit system takes place, has further plans for telemetric medical solutions.
